Which languages can it subtitle?
99+ languages — film in Croatian, Spanish, Hindi, Japanese or almost any other language and the subtitles come back in it, word-timed. Pro can also translate the captions into another language.
Is the auto subtitle generator free?
The editor is free; AI auto-subtitles are a Pro feature ($12/mo billed annually, $20/mo monthly, or $99 lifetime). Free accounts can still type captions manually and export with no watermark.
Does my video get uploaded?
No. Only the small audio track is sent for transcription — the video stays on your disk, and editing and export run entirely on your PC.
How accurate is it?
Accurate enough that most clips need no edits — and when one does, every word is editable on the timeline before export, so a wrong name never ships.
Can it find the best moments too?
